@samrculley: DAY 3 - Hiking the South West Coast Path (Lynton - Combe Martin) Today was a crazy one, I left Lynton this morning and hiked through the Valley of rocks which is a beautiful place, the trail then heads through forests again until it opens up at Hedden Mouth… this section is a super thin path with mega drops.. Honestly if the wind had been any stronger I’d have turned around and gone inland, I’m aiming to raise money for mountain rescue not spend it 😂 The wind was blowing towards the edge which made it much harder but I persevered 😅 Then it was up to great hangman and little hangman, amazing views and great hangman is one of Englands highest sea cliffs! My watch turned off during the day but I worked it out to be roughly 14.5 miles Andover 4000 ft of ascent! Which to me feels like 20 miles on a normal hike… Days 1, 2 and 3 of the SWCP have all been a challenge, I have a feeling this is going to be a tough 6 weeks!
