Wait…from all the videos of yours I’ve watched, contracted shop or not, don’t they need approval from the insurance directly in order to proceed with repairs? So if no paperwork from the insurance, why are we repairing the vehicle? 🤷🏼♀️🤨

I work in auto glass replacements as a preferred shop...we don't do ANYTHING without written approval from insurance or a customer's CC on file. we don't go by what a customer says we need it in writing from insurance...period. and this is why

even if there was a note in THEIR system, theres no estimate from an adjuster or anything to have actual evidence that it was cleared for repair.

any honest repair shop would know thay a car that old with that many miles wouldn't be worth 6k or more. they knew what they were doing so they could get paid.

Why on earth do these shops keep believing the customers and not verifying with the insurance?! Plus she changed her statement. At first she said she got approval from the customer and then changed her tune and said she got approval from insurance 😳
