I’m 33, have not touched a book since high school and got into reading 3 months ago. These are the books I’ve read so far since I’ve started. I read about 4-6 hours a day. I’m on Monte cristo right now. Next is, Malice, shadows of the Gods, then crime and punishment. Trying so hard not to buy books every day but I do have a long B&N list 😅📚📖 I want books on my library that I’ve actually read. I’ll save your video for the suggestions :)

The long walk is one of my least favorite books ever. I wouldn’t recommend it all for beginners. It’s a tough read where nothing happens and it builds up to more nothing with the ending 😂

Can I also recommend A Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. It got me into reading after a hiatus of several years. It's an easy read and absolutely funny. Went on to read the entire series

Joe Abercrombie’s books are great for reading inspiration. They move pretty quick and have Game of Thrones level of world building, but the story actually ends.
