it didn't lose the heat of the story? it turned the character Lisa from a complex person with different sides (who eventually got out and had a life) into a basic villain

Hello Alex, This movie shattered me. For 48 hours I did not leave the house and just reflected on my own Mental State. I am 23 My homeland is Sweden and I attended Boarding school for 12 years in England. Three Students took their Lives at school and each time my Parent's would fly to fetch me over three years. That stays with you and writes upon your Soul. I watched One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest last week for the first time. This shook me to my core. Frances The Movie with Jessica Lange I found so Very Sad as my wish was for I Her to walk away from Family. I so wanted her to be Loved and Safe. 🥰 My Gratitude Alex. Its a great film, that is often dismissed (by mostly male film critics) as a chick version of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. It's so much more than that. Angelina is blistering. But, so is Winona, in a quietly devastating way. Needs to be reassessed as a quiet classic
