we went wrong by creating a space where every single part of your life can be 1) documented permanently, 2) shared globally, 3) cancelable. When I was in my early 20s, EVERYONE was being intimate and people didn't have a clue or mind telling people because it didn't go beyond your circle at the most. Now we could be on 40 websites in an hour and people all over the world and our circle could see the most vulnerable moments of our lives.

The fear of being 'cringe' is really just the fear of being vulnerable. It's very hard to explore yourself when you're afraid of being vulnerable. It's much easier to reject anything or anyone who attempts to confront you with your vulnerabilities
