I do mobile mechanic work in Long Island queens and Brooklyn, I charge $120 for pads and rotor replacement front or rear, I pay & $1800 plus for software that can put that in service mode and people still think $120 is too expensive for a professional service that comes to your house ☹️

I bought a tool that connects to the groove of the piston and you rotate it clockwise. You don’t have to disconnect the motor.

Why do you press the piston back without bleeding out the old brakes fluid? Bleeding out the old brakes fluid then topping up the reservoir is doing more professional work 👌

Idk about every car but my 2019 Mazda…you perform a pedal/push start sequence for a maintenance mode to retract the pistons

Yea just use test leads and a jump pack then you can just press it in like a normal caliper and I’m only 19 and know this
