that kind of fear honestly stays in your body 😭 I can’t even imagine how terrifying that must have been in the moment… and the guilt moms put on themselves after something scary happens is so heavy. I remember feeling emotionally drained, anxious, overwhelmed all the time postpartum and nothing I tried really worked long term. I felt stuck like that for a while. then another mom in a womens group mentioned Eat Like a Woman Protocol by Loren Green and I tried it… I finally started feeling calmer, more balanced, and like myself again. my favourite one tbh

You’re an amazing mom! Thank goodness he didn’t panic and motioned for help! 😳 My son was a fast eater (and I called him a shoveler) when he was little. It could happen to anyone. Definitely take a first aid course and rest easy that Josh knew what to do! ❤️

All parents should be CPR certified by the American Heart Association, especially PALS. Look to see where you can get certified near you.

A childhood friend went away for the weekend, we were around 8-9 years old, she choked on an apple and no one around her knew how to do the heimlich, she passed away, I carried that with me into motherhood and never let my kids eat apples until they were older.
