“No kings” in regards to the protest is a metaphor, and King Charles isn’t our king in fact we separate from the UK because of it. We can however be cordial and civil to other world leaders when they want to visit (within reason) without wanting them to be our leader or wanting leadership that looks like theirs. Even then the monarchy in England is more of a figure head and the title doesn’t mean what it used to. So there’s no argument here that believing in these two things at once is hypocritical.
