We removed those automatic ramps in vienna trams long time ago due to these problems

everyone always says how great electric ramps are but i have mixed feelings about them. They seem to break down a lot. Once i got on the bus okay and then the ramp wouldn’t come out when i tried to get off. I wish they had manual ramps as well as electric ones so they could use the manual one if the electric one stops working

surely the door has to open to operate the auto ramp. I drive a minibus for the disabled and the ramp won't operate when doors closed.

Questo è dovuto alla scarsa manutenzione cmq la pedana si può far uscire o entrare in maniera manuale con una leva in dotazione che ho utilizzato in un caso analogo

ese tipo de rampas son muy malas, se averías constantemente debido a que al ir ahí abajo cogen mucha porquería. hay que poner rampas que se recogen en el interior del bus.

This happened to my bus ages ago i was listening to music and was at this stop for quite awhile so I looked up and they turned the engine off I was looking out for what happened and the wheelchair ramp wouldn’t go out or anything so I was there for a good 20 30 minutes so I was like yk what fk this Im getting the other one there was one right behind that one like 2/3 minutes away got home at like 5:30 😭😭 i was supposed to be home at 4:15

Switch off engine isolate reset then see if it solves problem if not then everyone off call garage for engineer. Yes driver has to test the ramp before entering a daily service but this can happen when in service , also bus could be better positioned as could be sensor problem too

If that’s my bus the bus terminated here and all of them can wait for the next one yes a certain type of passenger not being able to use the bus because of a faulty device because it’s illegal to run a inaccessible bus in public use
