I already talked about raw milk before but now I want to explain to you why it is better to drink raw milk and why you should stop drinking pasteurized milk. As a French, all of my family were always drinking raw milk their whole life. Pasteurization only came later, but before that, raw milk was just called milk. raw milk contains natural enzymes that are meant to be consumed and help with digestion. This is why a lot of people are lactose intolerant, because they are drinking pasteurized milk, which is not natural for your body and is way harder to digest. Enzymes are necessary to improve digestion and gut health, which is going to improve your health in general. There are so many nutrients and vitamins in raw milk that are going to be damaged when you pasteurize it. Thanks to these enzymes, they help break down the lactose molecules. In pasteurized milk, you don't have the same enzymes that help you digest lactose, and that's why sometimes people cannot tolerate it. Raw milk, or raw food in general when it is the best quality possible, is going to help you digest food way easier than if it is pasteurized or cooked. This is also better for the environment because it's local. Try to buy it from farms, if you cant then from markets, and from supermarkets.When you keep it local, you support your local farmers, and get way better quality.To drink raw milk, this is one of the most important parts more important than pasteurized vs raw, you need to know what the cows are eating. On the bottle or directly to the farmer, ask if the cows are grass-fed and fed hay. They need to eat this for the milk to be high quality and good for you. You are eating and drinking what the cow is eating. Remember, it's the same for your meat, cheese and butter. Dont comsume cows when they are fed grains or other than grass and hay this is the most important part. To finish about pasteurized milk, the biggest problem is how the cows are treated: poor conditions, no space, no grass, fed grain, and no sunlight.The milk is harder to digest and lose part of its enzymes and nutrients.I hope that helps you understand.
