One of my FAVORITE types of cosplays are hijab ones bc I’m always WOWED by the sheer amount of creativity they do with them for hair!!! I saw a rapunzel and her hair was mutiple hijabs braided and I thought it was GENIUS!!!!

Also, if you love the character and are so creative, you should relish the opportunity to put your own creative flair on something like the hair. Jahara does this in most if not all of her cosplays. Her hair looks like the characters while also being distinctly her.

Tbh for me the sentense of "Cosplay is for everyone" means, "No one should tell you who or how to cosplay the character you love." that doesn't mean of course "Do whatever you want with it." Having empathy and sympathy and trying to conect with other cosplayers ,who maybe even with tipps and well meant pointing out of details, can help you become a better cosplayer on top and also share your love with others. Cosplay should be done with Love. And anyone who says "It's not that deep." maybe it would be a good time to turn on your brain and think for once :"3 not only about yourself but others as well.
