@skynews: Two-thirds of under twos are watching screens, sometimes for eight hours a day. But what’s the actual impact of that on their brains? Sky's Mickey Carroll explains. #SkyNews #screentime #children #brains
Sorry how are parents allowing them to watch that much per day

Sooo is the government going to rewrite school curriculum to reflect this so children aren't doing homework on screens?

Wouldn't worry about it. The impact on adult brains caused by the government is massive.

This it’s terrible but I also believe we should limit how much screen time they get in the classroom to

bring me bk to the 90s. personally I don't do akot of screen time. but its been a huge convince I can see that . The old school model of parenting dosnt fit today as we no longer have a community.

I’m proud to say I have a seven year old and a five year old it’s been hard it’s been tough we have no iPads no smart phones and no screen time he is allowed to use the computer on weekends to play a game or just general use on how to use a laptop and even then not more than one hour. It’s hard because iPads etc are the easy ways out but after reading and researching I’ve thought in the long run it’s what’s best for my babies ❤️

screen time isnt just done from parents, ive worked in private nurseries where screens have been used, I tried to raise it as a concern but was ignored & brushed off

1 in 10 kids falling asleep watching screens blows my mind! Although I'm also surprised it's only 2/3 of toddlers watching screens each day as that seems low

Exactly right I was at a doctor surgery the other day and it would’ve been five or six mothers and all their children either had devices or their parents phone simply to keep them quiet and you could tell the children were addicted to the content at such an early age is wrong

I really do try to lessen the screentime. Nothing in the morning but in the afternoon is when the TV is turned on. Her screentime is only the TV, nothing else.
