As someone with an ileostomy this makes no sense to me. These are some of the foods that are supposed to help me and after eating them and a few other things while healing I have actually lost a lot of weight.

He did say berries. So it’s actually not all fruits. And if u wanna loose weight eliminating bread and rice is a good plan. But also cut out all sugar, beans, potatoes at first. As I did. I EVENTUALLY added some back. But only after I lost a TON of weight. It does work. I’m 5’7” and was 263lbs got down to 150lbs. My health has rebounded so I’m a believer of the low carb diet. Cheat days are fine so plan ahead. Baby steps is the key. Do this new diet for a day or two before your cheat day. Then increase it to a week. And have your cheat day. I eventually
