You’d think white people would want pale skin but nope they shame us for not being dark while hating dark skin it is so backwards. I used to cry bc I could never tan and I was translucent pale skin to where u saw all pores and veins. I only just in last few years decided I’d rather have healthy skin than burnt crispy tan or orange fake tan that always looks ugly after 3 days

One of my biggest accomplishment in life was learning how to love my fair skin no matter what people said. I’ve been hearing “you should get tan” “you are so pale you look sick” “are you allergic to sun?” All my life, I learned how to ignore those comments and love my skin. Nobody should be uncomfortable in their own body 💗
