So I’m on a calorie deficit, I exercise moderately with swimming and going on walks EVERYDAY and drink at least 3,3l of Water. I’m on it since the 9th of march and already lost -8,5kg (18.74lbs) it’s really easy. And yes you can eat fast food if you’re craving it 😋

Yes thank you!! I still eat whatever, I just adjusted HOW I ate it and stay within my calorie goals but my diet is still sooooo fun and diverse!

This is exactly what my husband and I are doing. However we still chose to clean up our eating a lot. Lots of the protein, fiber, lots of water. But we eat steak twice a week, sweet potatoes, rice, potatoes, lots of veggies, we make taco bowls, if we want pasta we do protein pasta, we found snacks that are low in calories (popcorn, cookie brittles, pretzel crisps) we use Greek yogurt for sauces rather than mayo, ect ect. So far I’ve lost 20 lbs since March and my husband lost 30. We are plateauing a little bit right now but technically we are still on a downward trend

For anyone that needs to hear this. A single Hersheys kiss is only 23 calories. When my time of the month comes I CRAVVVVEE chocolate. I have figured out that I can have a couple Hersheys kisses that will solve that chocolate craving without pushing me over my deficit on any given day just about.

This is something that helped me so much in my calorie deficit. If I want that cake or whatever too ok I eat less at lunch or breakfast or even a few days before to accommodate that. And it does work!! No restricting, no withholding. And my relationship with food is transforming

Nothing else ever worked for me because if something is too restrictive I won’t be able to stick to it. A calorie deficit where I can still eat what I want as long as I’m within my budget for the day has actually worked. I’m down 50lb!

I’m struggling with this because last Friday I was really craving pizza so I worked out my day so that I could have two small slices of pizza while still staying in my calorie deficit and I gained 2 pounds by Monday. I think it’s the first time I’ve had complex carbs in a long time so maybe that was it?

I still eat my junk food. If I want chips I add that to my daily calories. Same with sweets. Like today. I went to the gym. Ate a 6 inch sub after. And a protein shake before the gym. I can still have my sweet snack tonight. I’m down almost 30 pounds. And dropped several sizes. I prefer mirror wins over scale wins. Especially weight training a couple days a week.

been on my deficit since January. gotta figure out different ways of hitting that sweat tooth. instead of regular ice cream every night i bought a cuisineart fast freeze and make protein shake ice cream. its not as good but it curbs the craving.

I lost 50 lbs last year doing basic exercising and calorie deficient - and still had fast food quite often! Utilize the store apps to view calories and make adjustments (like getting rid of the mayo on a sandwich, subbing for other things, etc). My favorite is a hamburger from McD, extra pickles and onions! Or a McChicken, no mayo, add mustard and pickles. 300 calories!
