@thinkwithv: NOT SPONSORED. Just a Stan. You don't need another device or another tool. Chances are, something you already have does the job and does it well. That's the case for Granola AI. It's my go-to for all of my meeting notes and transcriptions. But did you also know that the mobile app is incredibly useful for in-person meetings, workshops, Seminars and Conferences? It's my go-to so that I can stay fully present in the event and have meeting notes and a full transcript to get back to later because Granola seamlessly integrates with Notion and Obsidian The latter via Claude Code. #cognitiveoffloading #GranolaAI #Notetaking #plaud #aitools
Currently using Jotit, and it absolutely aces my meeting notes at work, it’s a webapp so available to everyone!

Plaud is easy to take to meetings. It records phone calls etc. it’s easy to use. It’s also a cheap device. Apps are not as frictionless frankly. I’ve used both. Plaud has been a great part of my second brain and I simply automate the transcripts to a database and Claude has access etc. easy.

Yesterday I installed Granola, and this is the second time of installing it. I uninstalled it after I finished 2 meetings because it does not give me the actual transcript as an exportable file. I typically save all meeting transcripts for reference later. And because I’m platform agnostic it made me move to another tool that did exactly what Granola does but with local transcript files.

Could you kindly provide instructions on how to connect granola, Obisidian, and Claude code?

no exportable transcript is a dealbreaker every time. tools keep learning this the hard way.

now that’s badass 👌 didn’t know that at all. I use my voice memos app and a complicated setup to process the transcripts to Claude 🫠

I usually use a simple recorder on Mac and put the recordings into NotebookLM to transcribe them and ask specific questions

I’ve been thinking about switching. I use Fathom and love the transcription and the summary and how it notifies any other attendees ahead of time that I’m recording. I then use Pocket for random brain dumps and ad hoc phone calls. I’m speaking at Minnebar20 tomorrow and am gonna use my Pocket. Thank you for the idea!!
