No, the problem was that I loved him too much that I started ignoring my own needs just to make him happy. And when he broke up with me and I was telling him all the things he did that hurt me, he never apologized and made excuses for himself to invalidate what I was telling him. I realized in that moment that even tho I did love him, he didn’t want me because he refused to even try. The whole thing made me realize I cared a lot more about him than he did about me so I chose myself in that moment. I immediately removed all the love I had for him the moment he made my feelings feel invalidated, right after I told him the reason I never brought up my issues to him was because I was scared he was going to invalidate them. He knew that and he still did it and someone who is willing to willingly hurt and disrespect me like that doesn’t deserve my love. (P.s. he broke up with me yesterday, all it took was one conversation to see it so I removed myself right away)

i was in 7th frade when i met this boy, he made me so so unbelievably happy. Then one day he asked me to be his girlfriend. my life was amazing i loved going to school so i could see him every day it was wonderful. I knew i genuienly loved him even though i was 12. then a little over a month later he stopped talking to me and we eventually broke up. fast forward to march of this year and i still wouldnt go a way without thinking about him and i cant be in the same room as him without crying. one day he comes up to me and we start talking. he told me he still loves me and hes sorry. we got back together and my feelings for him havent chnged but if they have its because my love has grown and i know im young and its stupid but i lov this boy with my whole heart

They were the best thing to happen to me. And I loved them, and still love them so much. However, along the lines, I started to love them more than myself. And that’s not the way it’s supposed to work. I’ve learned that now. You can’t just wash someone out of your system in a day. If your love was real and it was true, it’ll take months and months to get them out. It’s been 6 months and I still don’t have them out of my system. But, I’ve learned that you can love the shit out of yourself and still love someone so much.

I've told him how I felt, I told him that I was heartbroken and that I've lost appetite. He didn't show anything that tells me that he feels sorry for how I'm feeling. I just gave up on telling him how I felt immediately because I knew it would just make me think "why did I even bother". I never really told him every single thought that I had when my heartbreak was so strong, I just only felt upset, angry, sad, and disappointed. I only told him I was dissapointed and sad, I didn't want to show him I was also just angry, not that the relationship is over, but that there was nothing to be fixed since I was the one that was always trying to fix things while on his end he barely did anything. I hope he realizes it one day. I still have love and hope for him and I, I just want to fix everything and also see that he's willing to fix things too after everything and just fix the issues we had for each other.
