The only thing about the movies that makes me comment every time is the size of the ring. It fits so small on Frodos palm but it fit on Saurons finger with armour. Am I missing something.

I decided to rewatch The Hobbit trilogy this weekend and I also started listening to Andy Serkis narration of the books on audible I just finished the fellowship I hadn't read the book in awhile so we're some things I forgot about. when I was watching the battle of the five armies when Gandalf told Radagast to go and tell the animals to go collect Information I was like wait a minute that happened in the fellowship.

I try to avoid judging changes to canon on the basis that it's change per se and more about whether the changes are compelling in their own. Because no matter what changes, the canon is still there in the original books. But I can't really think of any changes to Tolkien that I thought were worthwhile.
