@mmadrigallsresearch: Most people hear “migraine” and think headache but this is completely different. It can look like a stroke, affect movement and speech, and it’s honestly really scary. A lot of people with EDS deal with this too, especially when everything in the system is already more sensitive. #ehlersdanlos #migraine #headaches #chronicillness #dysautonomia
my bad migraines present like strokes, affects my left side, face numb, hard to form words, can't put a coherent sentence together, left hand goes numb and I can't move my fingers, I don't comprehend words, heavy legs that just don't move right, can fall/pass out and can even get really bad double vision. luckily no seizures but they also don't know what's causing my migraines other than it could be similar to m.s.

I haven’t had a symptom free day in years. The aura can last months after the attack in some people, I’m one of them and chronic. I also have MCAS and hEDS and other stuff going on. I use a rollator and sometimes I need to use a wheel chair (other person pushing) to get to the toilet. My cats even pick up on my gait changes and know not to walk in front of me. feel free to dm for more of my story

About 6 months ago, my eldest son had an episode where half of one side of his body went completely numb. He has the trifecta and trigamenial neuralgia, and on occasion, migraines (but they are usually silent migraines). ER tested him for stroke, etc. but didn't have a clue. Took about 4-5 days for feeling to return. What tests did they do to find this in your family member?

THIS is me to a T. Second collapse happening right now. Took 3 months of bed ridden 2 years ago after a back surgery. This time it’s relating to vascular which makes me wonder if mine is more Veds especially bc of my vascular history. I have pelvic congestive disorder, degenerative discs that are basically gone, liver disease. Right now I’m experiencing prolapsed hemmys and severe gastrointestinal issues as well. My lower abdomen is dissented. Let me show you what my episodes look like physically
