the more I study, the worst grade I get! I swear. I am 4.0 and I study 1-2 days before. I put my notes into chatgpt, get it to break down each slide, and generates me ATI style exam questions. I take the practice tests, and make quizlets sometimes. I really need a better way to study! I am so stressed.... ADHD.

I grew up with a learning disability, and I was in IEP in my entire school life and I’m doing well and passing nursing school (at the moment 😭). If I can do it, a knuckle head, you guys can do it! I also work full time and try to balance my life with my loved ones.

Advice from a nurse….theres literally no point in getting a 4.0. Hiring managers do not care if you have a 3.2 or a 4.0. Nursing school is hard, do wha you can to retain as much information as possible, and don’t have this crazy pressure to have a 4.0. You will not get any benefit from this, you’ll probably just stress yourself out more trying to get straight As

I got a 4.0 in RN too and placed Salutatorian!!! 👏😁🥰 My tips: do something every single day, stay highly organized, get a calendar, make todo list for the week and mark it off as you go, do extra when you can don't procrastinate, listen in lecture/star things that professor makes important, at home read the whole chapter and make your own notes, take practice questions, test banks and visit sites like Nurse Sarah/Nurse Mike! Learn the info, don't just memorize! Good Luck!!! 💖

Y’all also please know that striving for a 4.0 is so doable but please just focus on knowing the information! You can graduate with lower than a 4.0 and still pass the NLCEX and get the same type of job as that 4.0 student bc you’ll all still be new nurses! Do what works for you and take care of yourself!
