I said this until I got a kindle. Lmfao. I’ve wasted money on books that I end up not even liking. A kindle gives me the freedom to read a book without the commitment. And if I absolutely loved it, I’ll buy it for my personal collection.

i always always read them on my kindle first. i am not always going to like a book, and after i try it out I then proceed with reading and buying. i have a kindle basic i got for 80 bucks on a flash sale. that’s literally max 4 books (maybe like 2 and a half hardcovers) 😭😭‼️like plus libby and the world is yours and you only buy books when you actually like them! i can’t afford to buy a ton of books and tbh in this incredibly capitalist world (ik jeff bezos is as well) i am just saying, it’s nice for people who can’t always get to the library or need to read in a bigger font. i wish i got a kobo but this was the most financially accessible ($80 brand new) to me at the time. i say we stop the e reader slander and just focus on the love of reading. 💛

You can get a book stand for that and it’ll help you not strain your neck too much and hold the book open for you.

I refused as well, but then situations exactly like this kept happening and i got irritated 😭🤣 now im a proud owner of a kindle . good thing about about my situation is that literally about 90% of the books im interested in tend to be on KU.
