HQ remains gold standard, azeleic is not an alternative to work single-handedly it has to be paired with other tyrosinase inhibitors to give results only azeleic acid will not work

Dark skin here - using that exact azelaic acid 1yr now , yes seeing progress but so slow . My fault not reapplying sunscreen when I out, but this summer for sure - I will be since I have spray kind.

My melanocytes are overactive because i have extremely fair skin and lived in constant uv 12 for 10 years as a child with bare face and covered body and my face has been darker than the rest of my body ever since then and never evened out at all even with constant sunscreen and tret and azelaic use. Apparently my melanocyte baseline is higher in my face because it got so used to the sun. I wanna use hydroquinone but i havent seen anyone use it all over their face, just for specific area pigmentation.
