I started out as a Funeral Service Assistant, then became a Removal Technician. I find this work really fulfilling, even though it's pretty somber. I genuinely enjoy helping families during such a tough time. 🥰🥰🥰

I loved Mortuary school but when I was an intern and a grown man got 2 inches from my face yelling at me because I asked for payment for his prayer cards was the moment I realized this job was not worth it.

As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety my whole life, funeral service has given me SUCH purpose. It doesn’t feel like work. Part of that has to do with where I work, we are busy and a larger firm but it’s like family. The harder cases and days are made up for by the feeling of purpose and by knowing I helped someone during a hard, exhausting, and confusing time. It truly takes a servants heart ❤️and more owners should take note that having support for employees makes a world of difference.

I always wanted to go into the business. My wife said I’m morbid. But now being 51 it’s passed me by. I respect what y’all do and I know it takes a special person to do it!!
