I 100% agree with this, and I think this is true with any type of education, for example, getting a certification instead of a college diploma, you will go into rooms with people who are filled with a wealth of knowledge who want to see you succeed who will pour into you to help take you to a higher level

I totally agree. And there are many different paths to getting education, whether it's degrees, certification, trade, and more. One thing I do think is that there isn't enough support or resources in helping teens learn about Career Planning and Financial Literacy as both is needed for finding and building a future career. I have one book that teaches Financial Literacy to teens so that that can build good financial habits before they are exposed to bad ones. And another to help with Career Planning because telling to "pick something" is not helpful. This year I want reach as many parents, grandparents, family members, teachers, and mentors of teens to help with Financial Literacy and Career Planning. My goal is to help the next generation not have the struggles we did at that age.

I’m a first gen graduate in my whole family, the day I got my first pay check, that’s the day my family’s fate started to change, it just one pay check that shifted our minds and our thinking about money. Thanks for posting this video.

Neither of my parents had a high school diploma and they made it out of lower class to higher middle class , they literally just busted they butts working and creating their own business .. agreed girl
