I wonder if he knows that Yellowstone traveled from off the coast of California and over some 50+ million years it has traveled through Oregon and eastward to where it is today. there is a geologist in Ellensburg, WA studying it and does fantastic dissertations on YouTube Nick Zentner

when you look at a geological map of the area you can see where old volcanoes were. Larch Mountain is an edge of a caldera.
