@wewantdome: #wewantdome I shaved my head and found bumps everywhere. Turns out this is very common, but most people have no idea. This is usually either acne or folliculitis. Acne happens when follicles get clogged with sebum and dead skin, leading to blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, or cysts. Folliculitis is an infection or irritation of the hair follicle, often from bacteria, causing red or white bumps, itching, or tenderness. We spend way too much time focusing on the hair and not enough on the scalp. The scalp has oil glands and pores just like the face, so it needs proper care too. Ignoring it leads to these issues. What helped me clear it up: I started washing my scalp every day or every other day, really focusing on the scalp instead of just the hair. I switched to non-comedogenic products that don’t clog pores. I also change my razor often, shave with the grain, and never go to bed with product or sweat buildup on my head.
