Season 13 is INFINITELY better than Season 12, and I think that’s in no small part due to Jack’s inclusion- he brings such a delightfully fresh air into the show, in a similar way to Cas when he was introduced. This season had some low/iffy points (mainly Michael and Asmodeus) but there’s so much other good stuff that you kind of stop noticing. Sam and Rowena’s relationship and how it fleshed out her character more was satisfying, plus the Wayward Sisters getting more screen time and Cas coming back and seeing him, Sam, and Dean interact with Jack was really engaging too. Tombstone was one of my favorite episodes this season cause of the interactions with Dean and Cas were just adding further fuel to the Destiel fire. However, Scoobynatural is my overall favorite, and it’s tied with Lazarus Rising for my favorite episode in the series- seeing everyone animated and acting out a Scooby Doo episode was SOOOO much fun (also I second your opinion about animated Cas being done really well). You’re definitely nearing the end, and as someone who binged the series for the first time recently, I definitely understand how it feels to not want to say goodbye to everyone yet. Get ready for Season 14 cause things ramp up a bit, but I’ll say nothing more beyond that for the sake of spoilers 😉

Jack is SUCH a perfect character. I enjoyed every time he was on the screen. It’s so hard to introduce such a primary character so late in a show’s run and it work!
