he does so much emotional labour/support for everyone, it kind of breaks me that theres no one truly looking out for him like, when mike broke down in tears in that scene with Hopper, only for S3 to have them in some sort of feud, which is crazy go me because ive never seen Mike so vulnerable and hurt until that moment. And then for the epilogue, everyone crying together and Mike only holds it in until everyone leaves and he breaks down himself, alone. He’s so lost. No matter how many changes and breakthroughs he went through, despite his effort, he never escaped the same fate he had in s1. Mike deserved so much better.
