I got to explore during my free time in Chiang Mai on a recent gadventures tour with thetraveltaurus who I met on a group trip as we explore North to South over 10 nights in Thailand. . Everyone told me about the temples, but when I got to explore the artsy side and see where locals actually hung out on their typical Sunday afternoon with friends it made it truly feel like an authentic experience. I found baankangwat on a whim as I decided to travel a little deeper. Here I found my new favorite purse by a grandmother and granddaughter duo hugmaihandmade and had a coffee and sweet treat from graphcoffee.co . I also tried some unique snacks like Bai Waan Rice Yeast Bread (try the Taro clover one it was so good!) . My favorite DIY workshop was Note A Book where you can design your own journal. Perfect for me to keep track of the amazing adventures on this trip. .
