They’ll probably never see this but please, dear Sony can you give us a movie based exactly on one of the games that’s all we want will I go see this? Of course does it look good? Looks like fun. Looks kind of scary but so far from your trailer looks nothing like resident evil. What is so hard. Take the exact game of one or two and make it into a movie it writes itself. The story is fantastic, but we’re always trying to reinvent the wheel. We don’t want to reinvention of resident evil. We don’t want a different take on it. We want a movie based on the video games that’s all.

Honestly the story of Ethan in the Baker house would have been so easy to make into a film. It's a classic escape the night and the characters are more grounded than the original. Why use the IP and then do your own thing. Surely after the success of Weapons this movie could have been made and called something else. Without the name I assume it would draw a wider audience as video game adaptations are "niche" in the grander scheme. Idk, I'll watch it I guess.

A lot of people don’t think this looks like a resident evil game. The first time I saw this TEASER TRAILER with no context I thought “this is kinda giving RE7.” When that game came out if you didn’t know any better you would assume it was a completely new ip. The only things really connecting RE7 to the other games was a few files and Chris showing up AT THE END OF THE GAME. I beg you to go back and watch the RE7 trailers from
