Just make sure you temp the thickest part of the meat, and when you insert it don’t go straight up and down into it because the probe is sharp and will go right through the chicken into the pan or close to the bottom of the chicken, go in from the side so the tip is all the way centered in the thickest part and the only part reading the temp is the tip where it tapers off and gets skinny.
