I do Excimer Laser and opzelura two Times. The Excimer Laser is used only for the Spots and nor for the whole Skin. It works good for me

Have you identified what trigger your vitiligo?

My vitiligo has stopped growing as I focused on anti-inflammatory diet. I somehow think its linked with my autoimmune system so trying to keep closer look to my gut health has not only stopped it from spreading, but I’ve had some of my color back. Also, I see some good clinical trials of people taking (JAK inhibitors) along their laser treatment plan. It’s a risk to he honest, I tried to give it a try, however for me only my elbow seemed to response, but you can discuss this with your dermatologist if you like :)

I share your sentiments exactly like you describe. It’s as much a mental feat as it is a physical one. I just started my journey and the herbalist focused on connecting when I first saw my spots to major stressful times. Physically, they’ve started me on herbs to flush out my colon before I start a 5 day fast. I’ve also stopped Opzelura and am applying vitamin E to my spots during my light treatment.

I got my first vitiligo spots right after my father passed away. First on both of my cheeks, then on my hands. After I got diagnosed, I started doing my own research and still do. I use Opzelura and it worked really well on my face. I don’t have any white spots there anymore. I also use a Wood’s lamp to regularly check my skin. My hands are way more stubborn though, so I started excimer laser treatment twice a week for them. I also take supplements like B12, copper, vitamin D, omega-3, curcumin, folic acid, and ashwagandha. I haven’t gotten any new spots, and my hands are slowly starting to re-pigment now.

Hi, did you know that you can use full body UVB tanning at some tanning salons? I use Beach Bum Tanning in North Jersey, $16 for 6 minutes. It TRULY works if you stay consistent.

I cover mine with spray tan. St Tropez Luxe Cream Mousse is a great color for my hands and right wrist, and Quick Tan works for my legs/lower body. With consistency using sun and the UVB full body tanning booth at Beach Bum Tanning, and supplements like Activated B complex, liquid chlorophyll (copper) etc, I got rid of more than half the V, and it’s now much much easier to use the spray tan to cover it. I spray some into a small glass and paint it on with a Q-tip, then blend the edges with a wet washcloth, then spray it with Quick Tan. The more I repigment, the better it looks to use the spray tan. Oh and by the way, there is also Medical Tattoing that can cover it as well.
