initially NIN registration was only done at government offices before they allowed registered individuals to do it. but you can still get it done at the government office, the only thing is that you should be prepared to spend the whole day there because there are always a lot of people there for registration and capturing too.

You could go to their government comfortable office but be prepared to wait the whole day and probably still have to come back. These road side guys don't have the full access to issue your ID but they have access to help register, and do the preliminaries while the actual offices do the validation and verification. And if you happen to have issues or any complication, the office handles it. That's why offices are always crowded cos they do the heavy lifting and the officials take their time sorting these things so it would probably take you long to get things fixed, that's why roadside hustlers help alot. Some are shops and kiosks and some are actual well furnished business offices. Proximity to you is an option on the table too. At the end of the day it's about getting things done. Kudos on your interesting experiences. You are obviously having the experience with optimistic eyes.

I did mine before the whole nin saga few years ago.. and I know how long it took me to register in a government office. . this new way is much better and easier for people trust me you won't want to experience that messy government office registration process
