I told my husband as the social worker in the house, my professional opinion is gonna be the trump card. I don't even wanna discuss social media until 16. Not a peep. There will be no phone, there's a household cell phone for emergencies that lives at home and only goes w him with prior approval. I see the damage to kids every day. Parents need to step up and parent.

One have a rule no sm until 18. We have twin 14 year olds and my co parent allowed them to get insta without talking to me and I found out through my step daughter. I don’t allow them on it at my home and now I monitor everything. I was so pi$$ed

I'm about to be a first time mom ..every girl I grew up with has an Omegle and KIK story. many of us have several, because those were unsafe and uncontrolled. two of those stories ended with police intervention. we won't be allowing social media and Internet usage will be heavily regulated.
