I can see where you’re upset that you didn’t get to experience taking them but think of how excited and happy they were get them to tell you about it. Look at the pictures and videos with them and get them to tell you everything that happened. I know it’s something that you can’t get back but it is an expensive trip and they still got to go. You can still take them again. they’ll still be just as excited. It’s an exciting place. It won’t be the first time, but it would be your first time with them. It sounds like they took them to celebrate what he has left of his life and wanted to experience something with his grandchildren before leaving the earth you’ll have so much more time with your kids than he will. I know it’s not his kids, but it’s his grandkids and he is running out of time. He doesn’t have all the time that you have left, he’s just trying to live the rest of his happy life and make those around him happy too. Just be happy.

Spend the money, even if you have to put it on a credit card. Your wife needs to spend quality time with her father, and you will get to see your daughters and make some special memories yourself.

Yes the experience with their grandparents is different with the parents as for kids Disney is always a big thing for them just like going to the park never ending want to go
