@marisadventuresinjapan: In the port town of Uraga, you’ll find the twin Kano Shrine, East and West. The name "Kano" (叶) means "to come true," but there’s a specific ritual you must follow: 1️⃣ Start at West Kano Shrine to receive a Magatama (bead). 2️⃣ Board the "Uraga no Watashi," a historic ferry that has crossed this harbor since the Edo period. 3️⃣ Visit East Kano Shrine to find the Omamori pouch. Once you place the stone inside the pouch, the amulet is complete, and your wish is set in motion. In Japan, this isn’t just about finding love, it’s about the invisible threads that connect us to the right people, opportunities, and luck. Also, the ferry ⛴️ is famous for not having a fixed timetable. If the boat is on the other side, you just stand on the pier, and the captain will see you and come over! 📍 Kano Shrine, Uraga (Yokosuka) ⛴️ Ferry: ¥200 - 400 I don’t remember the exact fee 😭 #yokosuka #uraga #kanoshrine #enmusubi #kanagawa
