I think ALL the time about Kingston not being able to fly in the dream realm. The layers of grief that Lou put on that character, even as he was leading his community with joy and love and positivity, really gets to me.

I think Pete and Kingston storyline is also great in a sort of meta way. Because you can see how Ally and Lou put a lot of thoughts on what they wanted to say and to portray. They truly became the voice of their community

I’ve been rewatching the unsleeping city and I’m on the second season now and the way that that they have influenced each other is truly amazing. How Pete now has a more collectivist attitude (with the book shop scene and adopting Cody) and the line that Kingston Brown has sweet dreams thanks to his friendship with the vox phantasma genuinely stirred such real hope in humanity

I completely agree, I just finished a rewatch of TUC chapter II and this season is one of my favorites ever specifically because of the demonstration of the importance of stories and memories, and when you have that you have connection and community and your dreams can come true and your present in your everyday life will be better. The divine intervention moment in the finale gives me chills all the time.
