Y’all don’t get what she means. Sadly, in the fashion industry you HAVE TO be able to work for free and volunteer. I don’t think it’s right, but that’s how it is. You can’t be picky either, you have to start with small brand to climb up the ladder. I’m a fashion science student and I’ve had to work during Paris and Copenhagen fashion week for free, lucky I stumbled upon some that paid me, but most don’t. I don’t regret a single thing tho because I learn A LOOOOOOT and my network is getting stronger. I wouldn’t be able to do any of this if it wasn’t because of the student loan tho… but that’s sadly the situation in the industry right now😵💫
