I have seen a lot of people misunderstood what the movie was trying to portrayed. The guy love the girl so much and sacrifice his career for her, hoping that the love he has for her will save him. At some point he realized that he brought shame not only to himself but the girl brand as well as such he become her weakness. He tried to change but it was too late- that is, life you don’t always get what you want is not a smooth road. What he build with so much love and effort almost destroyed because of his desires, he couldn’t stand it so has to make that decision to set her free. “He become her weakness”
