This Is Serious… Not Casual | R. C. Sproul “Work out your salvation” does not mean earn your salvation. R. C. Sproul makes it clear. You are saved by the work of Christ alone. His righteousness is credited to you the moment you believe. But once you are saved, God calls you to something serious. Sanctification is not casual. It is not something you drift through. Scripture says to pursue it with fear and trembling. Why? Because this is the most important pursuit of your life. Becoming holy, seeking God, and living for His glory is not a side task. It is the main business. Many treat the Christian life lightly. But God calls His people to urgency, seriousness, and deep commitment. This is about pleasing Him, not coasting through life. “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12) “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.” (Matthew 6:33) “Strive… for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14) If this challenged you, share it with someone who needs a wake-up call. #RCSproul #WorkOutYourSalvation #FearAndTrembling #ChristianHoliness #Sanctification #BiblicalTruth #ReformedTheology #SeekGod #HolinessMatters #ChristianLife #BibleTeaching #FaithAndObedience #GospelTruth #LiveHoly #SeriousFaith - @21stcenturyrevival
