Amber :
We growl when we're frustrated. As kids we used to tp try sneaking up on our parents for fun just like animal cubs. We feel the need to hide when scared. We get protective when us or someone close to us is threatened. We know to flee, hide and feel uneasy when someone we don't trust is walking behind us. We also know to raise our voices or lower them, loom over someone smaller than us to assert dominance, do intense eye contact, get aggressive and angry when we feel cornered. We used to have a tail, the proof of it being our tail bone that's still in our bodies- the one that hurts when we fall on our butt at a specific angle, we have canine teeth to eat meat, years back our ancestors (parents, grandparents) could move their ears. When we hear a loud noise we go dead silent, don't move and listen. We sense when we're being watched, we get the instinct to socialise with others our age or close to it, we always look when someone enters a room, we express curiosity when we meet someone and we want to know if they are friend or foe. We mostly feel safer in group, often form groups (family members, friends, even neighbours).
