Personally, I believe that motivation must be the point of origin of the practice, as it defines the approach, the limits, and the direction your actions will take. Witchcraft is an extension of one's will, and when you know precisely what drives you, every tool and every thought acquires a different, much deeper resonance. Intention functions as a compass, as it shows you where you can arrive with greater efficacy. Developing this kind of awareness can take time, but it is precisely within this space that witchcraft is practiced. Being able to define the 'why' allows for the construction of a foundation that is significantly more authentic and real. Practice is also an honest dialogue with oneself. There is no need to look elsewhere for what you are not yet ready to cultivate within yourself, because true strength lies in the coherence between what you think and what you do.
