Hell nah - as a former brand director, brands will be testing AI videos in-house, if they see a creator using it and converting, they will mimic that success A/B test promoting and if it works, they definitely will opt out of affiliates. I already see a lot of fashion brands using AI models and the viewer engages and buy from it, creators joining the wave to then complain about brands cutting them out, stealing their AI content (which is a gray area because they may not even own the video created by another app) - I personally started blocking AI content as I don't want the algorithm to think feed me more of that content

Yes yes yes and it takes longer to do it than just pick up the product and make a video yourself. It’s crazy they allowing this after they told us you have to have the real product in ur hands or else its misleading a year ago

I’m all for it in fact I had an account with 5000 followers I wasn’t really using it so I made a bunch of AI videos yesterday and today and had more sales than i ever had on that account.

I posted to shop videos late last week both happen to be for the same brand. Thought nothing of it. Just wanted to test the abilities in the new feature. Honestly, I’m not a fan of AI, but I also don’t want to get left behind. Ironically, both of those videos got more views than any other video. I posted that day, so there’s that. Lol, but the brand that I happen to do those videos for explicitly said in their discord, they did not want AI content. So I deleted the videos and I will not be making any more until I know more about it.

I'm sure the FTC will catch up to it soon enough. So definitely a 'No' for me, when it comes to Shop content. . That said, I have dabbled creatively in the past, for fun. May do so again. And if I take a more serious deep dive eventually, I'll probably create a separate channel for it, so that it doesn't affect my other income streams.
