I just finished reading your book and it felt like I was sitting on the floor with an old friend while they poured their heart out. I cried through the heartbreak, smiled at the chaos and tenderness of your foster dogs, and saw so much of my own dogs in the little quirks your describe so perfectly. Your way of writing makes ordinary moments feel luminous. You are such a fascinating person, and each chapter of this book feels so alive that I already can’t wait to one day watch it brought to the screen…though honestly a Broadway play would be magical. This story belongs to New York after all.
