Losing Toys R Us was a terrible tragedy for this country. Luckily, we now have Smyths Toys Superstores where I go to look at LEGO and it is similar, but the nostalgia of Toys R Us will never be beaten.

As a 16 year old lad I went into Claire’s to get my ears pierced on my lunch break… great times… I also have some great memories of recent years taking my 4 year old niece to buy hair bands and fairy costumes…

I literally took my 7 year old to get hers done just before they closed down! It’s just apart of growing up, getting your ears pierced at Claire’s! Her ears are absolutely fine and didn’t get infected! I also got my ears pierced there when I was 7 and never had a problem with them!

All the good shops are gone 😳 even if some are left online or part of ASOS it’s not the same. I like too see clothes and try them on without buying them all and returning when I don’t look like the size 4 model 😂
