I think both sides are kind of wrong. the bride and husband shouldn't have done it like this, it could gave been mixed so everyone could eat. but I also think the guests could have bared it for one single day for the wife and husband

I'm not vegan, but I'm also not a horrible person and would at least try the food before deciding if I didn't like it, and even if I didn't like it then I still wouldn't order pizza at someone else's wedding. Like skipping a meal isn't going to kill you, just eat at home or back at your hotel if you didn't like the food 🙄

It’s customary to have several options on the reply card and have guests mark what dish they will eat so the catering can have an accurate count. Only offering vegan option and not telling guests ahead of time is weird.
