Not her counting the toilet paper rolls! 😂 backstory ::: Kay and I are headed back from Alabama, and had to stop half way because traveling with a newborn is SO HARD! 😂 We are new to traveling with a newborn, so we have to take many stops to let Ellie stretch her legs, feed, change, etc. Since we couldn’t make the drive and had to stop at a hotel, I got to see Kay do what she always does! She loves to show me around the hotel room as if she is giving a tour, and tells me about things she likes/dislikes. It is always so funny to see her get excited looking around at all of the amenities! At first we thought we got a room without a bed, but it was just hidden deeper in the room! The room was very nice and was a great place to relax for the night! ❤️ Now we only have 1/2 the trip to go! It was always so fun to make her weird ideas come to life! Well it’s been a year since she had any cravings and she randomly decided that she wanted to try the craving again! She came up saying how it sounded so good and she needed to have it. So I ran to the store and got the stuff we needed, and whipped it up! I brought it to her to try and I wasn’t sure if she was going to like it, but after the first bite, I was relieved because she Loved It! Ellie was so cute when she asked me to walk to her! 🥹❤️ backstory ::: After almost 9 months of having a small, doorless area for her bedroom, Ellie finally has a real nursery to grow up in! When Kay and I first got our last apartment, we didn’t know that she was pregnant. So we only got a 2br, 2ba. We took 1 bedroom and Kinsley took the other and that was big enough for our family! But right after moving in, we found out that Kay was pregnant, and we had no clue where we were going to put the baby. Luckily, we had a small office space by the front door, and though it wasn’t ideal, we had just enough space to put a chair, mini crib, and changing table. We made that work for 8 months, but Ellie was growing out of the bassinet and mini crib, and would need a full sized crib soon. And the space that we were using for her nursery wasn’t big enough for a full crib. Then we finally found our first home! It had everything that we had been looking for, but most importantly, it had a space for Ellie to have a bedroom and bathroom! Over the last 3 weeks, I have been getting it ready when we had time! I had someone come and help organize Ellie’s closet and drawers, and with that out of the way, all I had to do was assemble the furniture, crib, hang the wallpaper, shelves, lay out the new rug, and decorate! And now it’s FINALLY finished! I went and got Kay after I finished hanging the final shelves and putting up some decor, and I surprised her with the final room tour! She was so excited to see Ellie’s first real bedroom! I’m so excited that she will have this space to grow up in! It has plenty of room for her to grow and play and learn!
