Lost my best friend a month and a half ago. He taught me everything I know and he took my heart with him. Some days I go back to the ranch and feel like I can keep going. Other days I break down and feel like I need to walk away from horses completely. But I keep hearing the call. And I'll keep answering it.

i took an 8 year hiatus after having my kids. got back on like i never missed a beat. i missed it so very much. i lost my horse during that time & boy is it hard to get on a different horse now.

31 and just got my heart horse back after 2 years and put a saddle on him after almost 9 years of not riding. I now have him and one other horse and I’m getting my kids into riding. It has been such a crazy roller coaster of emotions. My heart never stopped beating to the sound of hoof beats thundering.
