My child 100% has a processing problem. He can comprehend but he’s 4 and still will not potty train. His little brain just can’t comprehend it yet

I’ve been using Ella olla and noticed a huge change and now I might also include this in my son’s regimen. So far the Ella olla has helped him with his nutrition and his overall mood. He’s even been more social. I can’t wait to add this and come back with some feedback for other mommies ❤️🫶🏻

My son was diagnosed with a speech delay at 2 years old. We tried therapy, but nothing seemed to help. A hearing specialist later found that fluid in his ears wasn't draining properly, affecting his hearing. After surgery, he improved incredibly fast and now speaks in full sentences. Every child is different, but it's worth ruling out hearing issues or other medical causes first.

Speech pathologist here, you’re almost correct. Auditory processing and sensory processing is mostly important for receptive language however, expressive language, a child ability to speak single words and phrases, is not affected by this nearly as much.

This! My son is 4 & I can tell that it’s 100% a processing issue. When he is trying to say something to me he knows what he wants to say but sometimes struggled to get it out.. it’s the saddest thing I hate it so bad. He’s been in speech therapy for ever since he was 2 & he about to be 5.

Have not seen any progress with speech therapy but my area is quite awful with this and options. However after adding b12 and b9 my daughter went from not saying a peep to having functional echolalia. She stores these words she copies/repeats and uses them correctly later. 🥹

It was "easy to overlook" when I was a child, but my ADHD slows down my processing significantly, which at times caused speech issues. it's crazy how much of this overlaps

My daughter doctor said it’s was sensory overload but she is a Covid baby and I got the shot so I don’t know a lot of kids were born during Covid time have speech delay. I just don’t know what went wrong there is no study that can tell you what happened and the cause for it. As a mom I just feel horrible
