Totally agree with her. I was the same. My kids are 26 & 21 & my relationship with both of them is extremely close & solid. Being a 3 hour mum has not negatively affected them in the slightest.

So many unrealistic expectations are placed on mothers. Myself and my husband both work full time to provide our children with experiences in life. Yet as their mum, I’m the one being asked “ don’t you feel bad “ for not being there every hour of the day. It horrible missing sports days but taking them on holidays abroad and allowing them to do the hobbies they like provides them with, in my opinion, more beneficial life experiences.
